IS IT PERMISSIBLE TO WORK IN A LODGE OR GUESTHOUSE | Selling Water, Food, or Providing Services..?

In the course of life, one may find themselves surrounded by lodges, guest houses, or even hotels. The question then arises: Is it permissible to provide services or work in such places?

This question has come up due to the negative perception that people often have, assuming that everyone who visits these places is engaging in immoral acts such as adultery. Sheikh Muhammad Iddi has provided an excellent explanation in response to this question—Mashallah. Watch the video from beginning to end, as this is the second question he addresses.

The first question was: "There was a time when Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) ran out of food to the point that he had to tie stones to his stomach. The question is, was this during the time he was married to Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her) or another wife? It is known that Khadija was a very wealthy woman."
